Tercüme-i Ferhengnâme-i Sa’dî’nin Söz Varlığı

Abstract

Hodja Mes'ud XIV. In the 19th century, he wrote his work Tercume-i Ferhengnâme-i Sa’dî and made the first verse translation of Sa'dî's Bostan into Turkish. Vocabulary of the Tercume-i Ferhengname-i Sa’dî; It has been examined under six headings: Introduction, Thematic Dictionary, Etymological Analysis, Semantic Structure, Collocation and Index.

From the words in the work, the less witnessed ones in the search dictionary and the ones that have never been witnessed before were selected and contributed to the EAT vocabulary. The words that make up the work were classified according to their origins, and the rate of use of Turkish words on the text and the frequency of words of foreign origin were determined. The semantic events in the work were analyzed from Old Anatolian Turkish to Turkey Turkish. Constrained collocations in the collocation section, determined by the meaning-based approach.
