Özet
The relationship between magic and truth is one of humanity's oldest issues. The activities aimed at solving the curiosity and mysteries of humanity towards the magical existence of nature since the primitive period also constituted the history of art. The idea of dominating nature, which has developed since the primitive period, has led to a change in its perception towards nature, while at the same time it has revealed different perspectives. This research focuses on the issue of "Magical Reality", which has emerged as a new conceptualization in contemporary art. The subject also supported by the "Magical Reality" that emerging in art history of art and in different disciplines. General, the magical world of magical realism becomes a part of daily life and by combining it with the real world, the doors of different expression styles are opened. Thus, magical reality has managed to survive until today by being handled by different artists in different countries. Artists who mostly deal with magical reality, the mystery behind the reality in the society they live in, sometimes their social, sometimes personal experiences, sometimes using myths and legends to transfer their own realities to their paintings, and at the sometimes, the change of magical reality and its reflections on visual art are discussed. The subject, supported by the productions, has been tried to be moved to a different dimension in terms of personal experiences, perspectives, form and meaning. The main problem of my work is to question to position of nature with a reactionary attitude towards the rapid concretization of the city (Eskişehir) I live in and its gradual loss of green. The magical reality relations questioned in the formal and conceptual framework of this reactive attitude. It is aimed to reach a new language of visual expression by bringing the repulsive ‘'concrete’' and the magical '’nature’relations, situation, opposition or contradictions side by side.
