Ludwıg Van Beethoven’ın Op.72 No:3 Leonore Uvertürü'nün Form ve Orkestra Şefliği Teknikleri Açısından İncelenmesi

In this study, Op.72 No:3 Leonore Overture, one of Beethoven's Fidelio Opera overtures is analyzed in terms of form and conducting techniques, and the difficulties and problems that may arise during the performance of this ouverture, which is frequently included in the repertoires, are determined and suggestions are presented based on the findings obtained. Based on this purpose, first, the information about the composer's life is provided; afterwards, the time period (1803-1812) when the work was composed and is accepted as the second artistic period of his life, is discussed in detail. Within the framework of the general characteristics of the Classical period in which the work was composed, the form structures that developed in the period were explored, and the overture form was also discussed in the context of the research topic. In addition, as part of the historical analysis of the work, general information about structure of the classical period operas and the Fidelio Opera, of which Op.72 No:3 Leonore Overture was a part, the main subject of this study, are presented. In the last section of the study, analyses of harmonic, formal and conducting techniques are given. In the light of the historical background and the data obtained as a result of the analyses, certain subjective assessments, conclusions and suggestions are provided.
