Yaşayan Kültürel Miras Müzeciliği; Ünye Örneği
Özet
Culture includes all times of humanity; It is a concept that has transformed from the past to the present and still continues this transformation. The concept of cultural heritage was put forward at the “United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization General Conference” organized by UNESCO in 1972 and it was accepted that the cultural heritage works that are the subject of the “World Heritage Convention” constitute a part of the common heritage of all humanity. The concept of Living Cultural Heritage (LCH) is clearly defined in the "Convention for the Protection of Living Cultural Heritage" prepared and signed by UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization) in 2003; “Living cultural heritage means the practices, representations, expressions, knowledge, skills and associated tools, materials and cultural spaces that communities, groups, and in some cases individuals define as part of their cultural heritage. ”
The concept of Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) can also be named as 'Living Cultural Heritage (LCH)' in terms of its corresponding meaning. The English equivalent of the concept of 'Intangible Cultural Heritage' settled in Turkey is 'Somut Olmayan Kültürel Miras'. The word 'intangible' has meanings such as 'alive, intangible, intangible, living, intangible in culture'. Therefore, it can be said that it refers to traditional knowledge that is lived and transmitted. Since it is thought to be more suitable for the subject and thesis of this study, the expression of living cultural heritage has been preferred.
After Turkey became a party to this convention in 2006, the definitions of living cultural heritage found direction especially with folklorists and then became the focus of attention of different disciplines. Folklorists, who believe that the Cultural Heritage is a collection of all that people have earned from their creation to the present, claimed in the early 2000s that museums are more than warehouses that store these collections. Living Cultural Museums are institutions that research and convey the rich information potential of not only material heritages but also spiritual heritages in making the material and spiritual accumulations of urban culture more understandable. Living cultural heritage museums have multiple functions in the research and transfer of urban culture, identity and brand. In this study, the process after the transformation of the traditional Black Sea house, which served as the Unye Museum House on May 24, 2013, to the Living Cultural Heritage Museum in 2016 will be discussed. At the same time, taking into account similar museums operating in Turkey, the versatile and functional dimension of living cultural heritage museums will be analyzed.
