| dc.description.abstract | In this study, the relationship between statistical indicators of provinces in Turkey and air transportation statistics will be examined. First of all, the statistics related to the provinces included in the TUIK Provincial Indicators will be used to determine which indicators are directly related to airline transportation statistics. Indicators of the provinces where the airport is located will be used here. After determining the indicators directly related to air transportation statistics, provinces can be ranked according to air transport potential with the help of Data Envelopment Analysis and Principal Component Analysis methods by using indicators belonging to all provinces with or without airport. In this way, the provinces with the highest potential for air transportation among the provinces that do not have an airport and the provinces which have an airport but which are below the potential in terms of air transport can be identified. | tr_TR |

| dc.description.ozet | Bu çalışmada, Türkiye’deki illerin istatistiksel göstergeleri ile havayolu taşımacılığı istatistikleri arasında nasıl bir ilişki olduğu incelenmiştir. Öncelikle TÜİK İl Göstergelerinde yer alan illere ait istatistiklerden yararlanılarak, hangi göstergelerin havayolu taşımacılığı istatistikleri ile doğrudan ilişkili olduğu belirlenmiştir. Burada havalimanı bulunan illere ait göstergeler kullanılacaktır. Havayolu taşımacılığı istatistikleri ile doğrudan ilişkili olan göstergeler belirlendikten sonra havalimanı olan veya olmayan bütün illere ait göstergeler kullanılarak, Veri Zarflama Analizi ve Temel Bileşenler Analizi yöntemlerinden yararlanılarak iller havayolu taşımacılığı potansiyeline göre sıralanabilmiştir. Bu sayede havalimanı bulunmayan iller arasında havayolu taşımacılığı için potansiyeli en yüksek olan iller ve havalimanı bulunan ancak havayolu taşımacılığı açısından potansiyelinin altında kalmış olan iller belirlenebilmiştir. | tr_TR |
