Yaşlılara Yönelik Evde Bakım Hizmetlerinin Değerlendirilmesi

Abstract

Basic objective of this study is to determine the factors having influence on daily lives of elders older than 65 years old benefiting home care services and to get their opinion on the services they obtained in the context of Ecological Systems Theory. Face to face interviews were carried out with the elders, members of the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Social Work Department Elders Service Center which has the highest number of old people getting home care services and which performs home care services to achieve said objective within the scope of quantitative research design.That the studies examining the needs of elders living at home are limited leads service models are limited which are provided on the area of care to elder.301 individuals older than 65 years old were sampled for this study performed under screening model who are members of Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Social Work Department Elders Service Center and living alone or together with family members.
