Kütahya-Cebrail Antimon Ocağının Kaynak Kestirimi

Abstract

The aim of this thesis study is to estimate Mineral Resource of the antimony field located on the border of the Cebrail settlement in Gediz, Kütahya. In order to make the estimations, a database was created by using geological survey data, drillings, surface samples and drilling core analyzes made in the field. A solid model was drawn by interpreting the geological data in the field. Then, the necessary parameters for Mineral Resource estimation were found by performing variogram analysis. Following the block modelling, Mineral Resource estimation is made by assigning attributes in block centroids by ordinary kriging. In the next step, grade tonnage curves are plotted and the resource potential areas are obtained. As a result of this thesis, resource estimation processes were made in the Cebrail area and the potential of the area was tried to be estimated. More drilling and analysis should be done to convert the found Mineral Resource into a Mineral Reserve
