The aim of this study is to examine the moderating role of perceived organizational support on the relationships between adaptive-maladaptive perfectionism and task performance. These linkages were discussed within the conservation of resources theory (COR). The sample of the study consists of 347 white-collar employees working in various sectors. Data were collected from the participants through an online questionnaire, using the snowball sampling method. The perfectionism levels of the employees were measured by Frost Multidimensional Perfectionism Scale-Brief (Burgess et al., 2016), their assessment of their task performance was measured by the Performance Scale (Williams and Anderson, 1991), and their perceptions of organizational support were measured by the Perceived Organizational Support Scale (Eisenberger et al., 1986). SPSS 23 and AMOS 23 were used in data analysis. The hypotheses of the research were tested with regression analyzes using Process Macro (Model 1). According to the findings obtained in the study, it was determined that perceived organizational support had a moderating effect on the negative relationship between maladaptive perfectionism and task performance. The general implications of the findings and limitations of the study are discussed and then various recommendations have been made that are thought to be useful to future researchers and managers.
