Neoliberal Dönemde Cezalandırmanın Değişen Amacı ve Faile Bakış Açısı
Özet
In the face of a criminal act, both the way of application and the purpose of the
penal sanction imposed on the perpetrator of this act differed according to
historical periods. Ultimately, this course followed by the form and purpose of
punishment, which is one of the ideological tools of the state, is highly connected
with the emergence of the modern state and the socio-economic changes it has
undergone. From this point of view, within the scope of the thesis, the comparison
of the social structure and the dominant punishment understanding between the
Keynesian welfare state and neoliberal state periods in the central capitalist
countries will be made, how the socio-economic characteristics of the periods
affect the purpose of punishment will be discussed, and finally, the similarity of
the change experienced in our country will be discussed.
