Kayıt Dışı İstihdam ve Türkiye'de Uygulanan Mücadele Yöntemlerinin Değerlendirmesi

Abstract

As a reflection of the informal economy in working life, informal employment in recent years not only in developing countries but also in developed countries, has become one of the major economic issues. Informal employment which has a complex structure in its identification and size determination varies between countries in terms of determination of the causes and consequences and also its prevention. Especially after the 1980s, informal employment in Turkey began to take attention as a problem to be solved. Therefore, the aim of the study is to determine the size and probable solutions to the problem of informal employment, as one of the major hurdles in front of the development of Turkey s economy. In addition to definition, causes, types and effects of informal employment, by examining applications in EU solutions for Turkey are given in this study.
