Çizgi Dizilerde Giriş Jeneriği Tasarımı Ve J.R.R Tolkien'in “Ham’li Çiftçi Giles” Öyküsü İçin Bir Uygulama
Özet
Cartoons have been in our lives since the spread of television at home. Cartoons have been using opening titles since they were broadcast and transformed into their current format.
It is necessary to know the basic elements of animation, to know which techniques and which platforms it is published in order to design a decent opening credit. In the first part of this study, animation and its history, which are the main elements in the production of animated series, are mentioned.
Before the internet entered our lives, television was the medium where cartoon series were broadcast. The historical stage and preparation of the animated series targeting the television environment are not mentioned in the second part. This review has been made by analyzing the animated series that have influenced the audience by achieving significant success on the dates of their broadcasting. These line sequences examined are sorted and classified according to date in order for the reader to better understand the timetable.
In the third part, the concept of generic is examined. Before entering the use of generics in cartoon series, the history and formation of the credits were examined and then the use of this concept in cartoon series was investigated. In this section, the elements used in the animated series introductory credits are discussed under the umbrella of theme and style. The generics of the animated series, which were
considered successful during their broadcasting period, were examined in terms of theme and style, and whether the introductory opening intro contributed to these successes was examined. While doing this, cartoon series with different approaches in terms of introductory credits designs, theme and form were chosen.
As an implementation work, Tolkien's story "Farmer Giles with Ham" was adapted to the cartoon genre. Then, the opening credits design was presented with the information obtained as a result of the research carried out at this stage of the study.
