Zaman ve Algı Bağlamında Yeniden Anlamlanan İmge: Hareketli Grafikler ve Deneysel Bir Çalışma
Özet
Visual communication thinking, along with the technical skills and intellectual evolution of humanity, redefines itself. The relationship of the moving image, which started with cinema and continues with television broadcasting, with the audience has reached an important point in our daily lives by taking computer and software technologies behind it. Motion graphics are the output of this change in graphic design and visual communication.
The aim of the thesis named “Image Re-meaning in the Context of Time and Perception: Motion Graphics and An Experimental Study”; Understanding the communication language of the static and moving image and revealing its effects on the design process through concepts such as perception and time that constantly renew their definition.
The study consists of four parts. In the first part, the definition of the concept of perception, its forms and perception processes are examined. In the second part, the concept of time is examined from quantitative and qualitative perspectives and the interpretation of time perception in the graphic image is emphasized. In the third chapter, the history of the moving image is discussed. Time, image and motion theories are described through motion graphics examples. In the last part, the production process of the motion graphic work named "Sometimes", which is realized in line with the theoretical knowledge, is examined.
