Workplace nurses are important member of the occupational health and safety team. According to the regulations in Turkey, nurses, health officers, environmental health technicians, emergency medical technicians can work as other healthcare personnel. This study was conducted in order to determine the working conditions, socio-demographic characteristics, problems faced by the members of the Workplace Health Personnel Association in terms of occupational health and safety and the suggestions of the members of the association for the improvement of occupational health. The data of the study were collected electronically with a data collection form consisting of 50 questions. 277 (55.4%) of 500 association members participated in this descriptive study. 54.5% of the participants are women, 56.0% are married, 48.0% have no children, and 44.1% are between the ages of 20-29. Participation in the study was mostly from Ankara (17.0%). Those who graduated between 2010-2019 constitute 59.9% of the researchers. 49.5% of the participants in the study are nurses, 40.1% are high school graduates, the unit they work in is the Common Health and Safety Unit with 52.7%, and 55.2% are in the first 10 years in their profession. According to the results of the study, 39.1% of the workplace nurses have a treatment / examination room in their working environment. 23.1% of them do not have any personal protective equipment that they can use in the workplace. As a result of the research, it is stated that the working hours, salaries, legislation, employee rights and guarantees of workplace health personnel should be improved; It has been determined that the employees do not have sufficient health equipment, personal protective equipment and suitable working environment. As a result of this research, it is recommended to improve the working conditions of workplace nurses, to change the names of other health personnel and to change the legislation.
