Yabancı Dil Olarak Türkçe Öğretimi Kitaplarında İkilemelerin Yapı, İşlev ve Anlam Açısından Değerlendirilmesi
Özet
The main purpose of this study is to distribute the reduplications in the resource books of B1 and B2 level students who learn Turkish as a foreign language and to classify these duplications as structure, task and function.
In our study, we also tried to draw attention to the importance of the target group and the purpose in the preparation process of a material by including the materials that are the basic elements of the education and training process in general. In teaching Turkish as a foreign language, many materials, tools and equipment are used under the guidance of the instructor. Each material has certain properties that will enable the student to acquire the target behavior. As a matter of fact, it is essential that these materials contribute to the fast, easy and correct teaching of the language. In our study, the features of the textbooks that are the source of our work are given by briefly mentioning the audio, visual and printed materials.
In the third and last part of our study, reduplications are introduced. reduplications have been seen as a magical structure since the first time they were dealt with, and the formation process and the rules within itself have been a matter of curiosity. Therefore, reduplications have formed the main axis of many studies. In this study, the reduplications that have been included in the source books were examined, especially considering the difficulties of those who learn Turkish as a foreign language, especially in learning stereotypes or cultural concepts. The analyzed books were, respectively, Yedi İklim B1 and B2 Textbooks; Yeni Hitit B1 and B2 Textbooks; Istanbul TÖMER B1 and B2 Textbooks. Both the reading texts, the exercises and the listening texts of the books subject to the study were examined and the ones with the feature of duplication were determined and evaluated in terms of structure, meaning and function.
