The rapid progress of technological developments towards the 20th century has provided radical changes for the softwares and digitalization. The development of software and drawing programs for design and architecture has greatly reduced the time devoted to design and visual representation of the design. With the software that makes it possible to monitor the design process, intervene in the design at any stages and apply many changes simultaneously, it has become possible to design and manufacture complex forms that have not been seen before. With all these developments, the concept of "parametric design" has begun to be used frequently and attributed to complex structures designed with various digital tools. The easier way to design complex forms caused the parametric design to be perceived as a style that mainly uses form as a visual attraction. This formal approach of many designs created through parametric software has made the form-function relationship in architecture open to question again. At this point, the evaluation of form-function relationship in architecture in the context of parametric design needs to be examined. Detailed consideration of parametric design which is attributed to digital software, reveals that it is a design process that can be maintained in analog form. Within the scope of this thesis, it is aimed to better understand the parametric design system by analyzing the effects of different application methods of parametric design on form and function through pavilion building types which are temporary exhibition spaces.
