Annelere Verilen Problem Çözme Eğitiminin Anneler ile Çocukların Problem Çözme Becerileri ve Çocukların Aile İçi İlişkileri Algılarına Etkisi

Daily life has many problems, these problems have different effects on lives of individuals. For this reason, providing individuals with problem solving skills is among the topics that should be handled with great importance. In the family which is the first education and trainig place of individuals, parents and especially the mother, who has responsible for primary care of children, having good problem solving and communication skills is important for their childrens. In this research “pretest–posttest with nonequivalent control group pattern” which is one of the quasi-experimental research patterns was used, the research carried out to evaluate the effects of problem solving training given to the mothers with creative drama method on the problem solving skills of mothers and children and children’s perceptions of family relationships. The trainings are consisted of the creative drama method were applied to the mothers of the fourth grade students of the primary school who attended the Pursaklar District of Ankara in the 2018-2019 Spring Semester. In the pre-test and post-test evaluations of the research, “Interpersonel Problem Solving Inventory” was applied to mothers, “Problem Solving Inventory for Children at the Level of Primary Education” and “Family Relationship Scale for Children” were applied to children. The data of research were evaluated using descriptive statistics, "Mann Whitney U" test, Spearman’s Rho correlation coefficient and Friedman’s Analysis. p<0.05 was considered statistically significant. In the research, it was determined that the problem solving trainings applied to the mothers by creative drama method increased the problem solving skills of the mothers (p<0.05) and it was not effective on the problem solving skills of the children (p>0.05). It has been determined that problem solving training applied to the mothers with creative drama method is effective in the perception of children as preventive in family relationships (p<0.05). According to the findings of the research, it can be said that problem solving training given to the mothers by creative drama method can be used within the scope of health protection and development intervention programs in school health nursing. Within the scope of school health nursing practices, it is recommended that problem solving skill training with creative drama method be given to children in order to protect, develop and maintain health.
