Boya Duyarlı Güneş Hücreleri İçin Yeni Sistemlerin Geliştirilmesi ve Karakterizasyonu
Özet
In this thesis, the effects of monodisperse porous titanium microparticles which are sensitized to use in Dye Sensitized Solar Cell (DSSC) were investigated. For the construction of negative side of the DSSC, the paste contains synthesized TiO2 particles, was applied on conducting side of glass. The positive side of the DSSC was constructed by means of using the platinium. The DSSC was constructed with the electrodes which are constructed on the surfaces coated with florine doped thin oxide glass and electrolyte contains LiI/I2. TiO2 pastes were prepared with the TiO2 nanoparticles with the range of 20 nm (Degussa P25, reference sample), the monodispers porous TiO2 particles with the range of 5 μm, and gold doped the monodispers porous TiO2 particles with the range of 5 μm. The efficiencies taken from these samples are % 0.34, % 2.39 ve % 3.13 respectively. It is the first usage of monodispers porous TiO2 particles with the range of 5 μm in DSSC as an electrode. The synthesized TiO2 particles and reference sample are compared with each other and it was seen that the seventh power of the energy conversion efficiency could be achieved with this synthesized TiO2 particles according to the reference particles. Besides, it was showed that the energy conversion efficiency could be increased significantly with the immobilisation of gold nanoparticles into monodispers porous TiO2 particles. In other part of this study, the performance of devices were investigated under the illumination of LED light.
