Özet
Muslihuddin Sururi from Gelibolu, who signed many works including royalty, translation, prose and verse in 16th century Ottoman Islamic geography, dedicated himself in order to teach the literature and the religion science, and wrote many works dedicated to Prince Mustafa who was the biggest son of Kanuni Suleyman and worked as the teacher of Prince Mustafa. Sururi, who usually produces religious works, translated the prose of Zahîretü’l-Mülûk, which was written by Seyyid Ali bin Sihabuddin el Hemedani in Persian and hadiths presented it to the Prince.
The book which was entitled as Zahîretü’l-Mülûk is a kind of religious book which defines the requirements of Islam and how to live of Islam religion with verses, other holy books, hadithes, prophet, caliph and saints stories. The book has been recorded not only as religious teachings and worship provisions but also as a work of politicization in many sources in order to include the teachings that shape social and political life. The topics in the book were divided into sections. The book is divided into ten parts as the provisions of faith, the fulfillment of the rights of worship, the state elders must have good morals; parent, husband and wife, son, relatives, friend rights; sultanate, province and state, the rights of the people, justice and alms, the position and importance of man in the creatures, to command the good and to condemn the evil, to thank the blessings, to show patience in the face of plagues and disasters, to stay away from wrath and arrogance are divided into ten parts.
This study includes one introduction section and three chapters. In the introduction section, information is given about copyright and translated works about ethics in classical Turkish literature. In the first chapter, based on the information obtained from the sources, the life, literary personality and works of the author Hemedanî and translator Sürûrî are mentioned. The second part is the examination part of the work. In this section, the external structure examination of the work is examined in two aspects as the subject and sections of the language and stylistic features of the prose and verse sections, the examination of the internal structure. In the third chapter, the copies of the text and the method followed in the preparation of the text are mentioned and the translation of the text is given by indicating the differences of the three copies in the text section. In the conslusion, the information about the text is presented. The study is finalized with the references used in reading and examining the text in the Bibliography and with giving special names in the translated text in Index.
