Hatıra Ahmedli Cafer’in Bestelediği “Hocalı” Senfonik Şiiri’nin Müzikal Karakter Yönünden Orkestral İncelemesi

Abstract

This study focuses on contemporary composer Ahmedli Cafer's Hocalı Symphonic Poem's examination of symbolist and musical aspect that help orchestral interpretation. Based on the descriptive research and screening method, the composer's ideas and thoughts are included. In the first part of the study, which is composed of three main sections, information is given about the form of the work, in the second part; information is given about “Hocalı”, which is the subject of the work, and in the third part; the idea of transferring the work to the orchestra is discussed. The study is thought to be a useful study since it will shed light on Turkish music and the works written in this style.
