Üç Dişli Schiff Bazı Içeren Rutenyum Komplekslerinin Sentezi ve Olefin Metatez Reaksiyonlarında Katalitik Aktifliklerinin Araştırılması
Özet
Olefin Metathesis is an efficient synthetic method used in building organic and polymeric material chemistry, where new carbon carbon double bonds are formed. Among the metathesis reactions, ring opening metathesis polymerization (ROMP) are frequently used in both academic and industrial applications. ROMP reactions which are carried out in the presence of organometallic catalysts, used for the synthesis of various polymeric materials with functional groups. In ROMP reactions, the structure of the final product, as well as molecular weight and polydispersity index (PDI) of the polymers are strictly related to initiation and propagation rate of the catalyst. In order to have an efficient ROMP reaction, the initiation and propagation of the catalyst must be controllable. This control is achieved by heat with ruthenium alkylidene complexes bearing bidentate Schiff base ligands.
