İnşaat Endüstrisine Yönelik Doğal Elyaf Katkılı Kompozit Malzemelerin Hazırlanması
Özet
Concrete has been used for thousands of years as a construction material. People have been paid much attention to the physical strength of the structure and the strength of the concrete which they used continuously developed. The most practical way to increase the physical strength of concrete is adding fiber materials into the concrete mortar. Actually without additives concrete is a brittle material, but with fibers which are added to concrete mortar, concrete gains a flexible feature and can carry more load on the structure without cracking. In this study Cladophora sp. cellulose nano-fibers obtained from algae were mixed in various ratios into the cement mortar used in the construction industry. Flexural stresses of the concrete samples were measured after curing for a week with three-point bending test. 121,0 g of concrete sample which includes 1,0 g nano-cellulose fibre has 2.7 time higher flexural stress from reference concrete.
