Siyalik Asit İçeren Glikopeptitlerin Hızlı ve Etkin Kütle Spektrometrik Analizleri İçin Geçiş Metal Oksitleri Kullanılarak Seçimli Olarak Zenginleştirilmesi
Özet
Proteins undergo several changes in order to carry out and regulate various biologic functions. These so-called post-translational modifications (PTM) are recently having the most attention as their functionalities proposed to play an important role in many cellular activities. One of the most common post-translational modifications is glycosylation which occurs by enzymatic reactions and yields with two types of modifications; O-glycosilation and N-glycosilation. By glycosylation, many important functions such as intercellular interactions and pulse transmission can become fully operational. Malfunctionalities of these processes are associated with certain diseases like cancer and alcoholism.
