Entomopatojen Fungus Beauveria Bassiana ve Paecilomyces Fumosoroseus Sporlarının Bazı Vektör Sinekler Üzerindeki Etkisinin İncelenmesi
Özet
Turkey is located in a region has appropriate environmental conditions for diseases transmitted by mosquitoes. In the fight against mosquito vectors; many methods are used such as chemical, physical or biological. In recent years, entomopathogenic fungi which is one of the microbial control agents has been extensively studied. In this study, it came to the fore with the vector features to be combatted; Culex quinquefasciatus and Aedes aegypti (Diptera:Culicidae) larvae were selected. From various provinces of Turkey, 150 soil samples were collected and by using the soil dilution method, entomopathogenic fungi were isolated from these soils. According to the results of isolation, 65 Beauveria bassiana and 6 Paecilomyces fumosoroseus strains were found respectively. The total of 10 different strains of these species and 1 standard strain were tested on mosquitoes.
