Mermer Tozu Ile Hazırlanan Nanokompozitlerin Antimikrobiyal Etkilerinin Araştırılması
Özet
Antimicrobial substances are natural or synthetic chemicals which kill or prevent the proliferation of microorganisms. In the recent studies, it has been determined that some photocatalyzer substances show antimicrobial effects on microorganisms with their photocatalitic activity. There are different kinds of practices using photocathalytic energy, for the procedures such as water purification, removal of bad odour and organic compounds, air cleaning, avoiding putrification, killing bacteria and fungi. The aim of this study is to determine the antimicrobial effects of titanium dioxide nanocomposites made with marble powder whereby UV or 60 W light on Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, Shigella sonnei, Candida albicans and Aspergillus niger cultures. Nanocomposites, containing 3%, 5%, 10% titanium dioxide, are used for this aim. The effects of the used microorganisms UV light and activation period, 60 W lighting, concentration are searched with the studies of antimicrobial in
