Keman ve Piyano Çalan Müzisyenlerde Gövde Stabilite ve Enduransının Ağrı ve Yorgunluk Üzerine Etkisi
Özet
In this study, the effects of trunk and upper extremity muscles stability and endurance on pain and fatigue during performance were investigated in young adult violiniss and pianists. This study was carried out on 50 insrumentalist musicians (25 violinists, 25 pianists) (mean age= 25.44 ± 4.81 years). The subjects? socio-demographic and descriptive characteristics were evaluated. During performance, pain intensity was assessed with Visual Analog Scale (VAS-P) and fatigue level was assessed with Modified Borg Fatigue Scale (BORG). Pain characteristics were assessed with Short-form McGill Pain Questionnaire. Deep trunk stabilizer muscles were evaluated with Pressure Biofeedback Unit (PBU) and stabilising strength data were recorded as difference in pressure (mmHg). Subjects? trunk mucle endurance and scapular stability were evaluted. Modified Push Ups test was used for evaluating upper extremity endurance and Modified Beighton Hypermobility Test was used for assessing joint mobility. There was positive correlation between M. Transversus abdominus (MTrA) stabilising strength insufficiency and BORG (r=0.335) (p<0.05). Also positive correlation found between MTrA-M. Multifidus stabilising strength insufficiency and BORG (r=0.378) (p<0.05). There was negative correlation between MTrA endurances and BORG (r= -0.349) (p<0.05). And also there was negative correlation between deep servical flexor muscle stabilising strength and BORG (r= -0.364) (p<0.05). Negative correlation found between trunk muscle endurance and VAS-P (r= -0.371) and also upper extremity endurance and VAS-P (r= -0.498) (p<0.05). There was negative correlation found between upper extremity endurance and BORG (r= -0.432) (p<0.05). There was positive correlation between scapular stability insufficiency and VAS-P in violinists (r=0.247) (p<0.05). According to results; it was found that parameters of trunk stabilizer muscles, trunk and upper extremity endurances had effectiveness on pain and fatigue levels during performance. It was concluded that physiotherapy and rehabilitation programs should be improved with kinetic chain model. Additionally, it was thought that, deep trunk muscles and scapular muscle endurance programs should be combined with physiotherapy and rehabilitation programs in musicians.
