Modern Dansçılarda Proprioseptif-Nöromüsküler Eğitimin ve Kinezyo-Bant Uygulamasının Dengeye Olan Etkisi
Abstract
In this study, it was investigated to compare the effects of Kinesio-Tape application and Proprioseptive-Neuromuscular Training on balance in modern dancers. A total of thirty-three trained university level modern dance students (mean age 22,4±3.2 yrs), voluntarily participated in the study. Participents were divided randomly three groups: Kinesio-Tape Group (KTG) (n=11), Proprioseptive-Neuromuscular Training Group (PNTG) (n=11), Control Group (CG) (n=11). The All dancers continued to their own modern dance educations (5 days per week, 3 hours per day). Anthropometric measurments (height, body weight), as well as balance property was measured by using two static (one-leg passé balance with eyes closed in flat foot and with eyes opened in relevé), one semi-dynamic (airplain test) and one dynamic (using by EasyTech Balance Platform) balance tests before and after the intervention. One day after pre-tests, a correction technic method was applied that included peroneal muscles and covered ankle to KTG. Immediately thereafter all tests were performed.PNTG participated in a 8-week supervised training program (8 weeks, 2 days per week, 60 minutes each session) performing a variety of balance exercises designed, while the KTG and CG did not participate in any addional exercise programme. Kruskal-Wallis H Test-Mann-Whitney U was employed for determining the statistical significance of pre and post tests results between groups and Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Testwas employed for intergroups. In intergroups analysis; Planör-Airplane, Monopodalik-straight-transverse tests in KTG, all the static and dynamic tests in PNG, only Planör-Airplane test in CG were seemed a significant increase (p?0.05). An effective training program was created by using PN training about 8 weeks for dancers as well as the positive acute effects of Kinesio-tape on balance.
