Özet
The media is under the domination of economic and political fields. In Turkey experience, this situation has changed in favor of the political field in the last decade. Pressure on the media in particularly can be seen through the news media. The censorship begins to in the news production process. Thus, together with the pressure, censorship and self-censorship has been internalized in the news media. The media has lost its relative autonomy.The aim of this thesis, in both of the public and private television channels news production process in Turkey it has to be approached from a sociological perspective and analyze this process with overcoming to structure and agency dualism. Accordance with this aim, problems in the functioning of the news production process how affected to the news as a cultural product and how it affects the impact of the neo-liberal structure on the journalist as an actor, was examined support from Bourdieu's field theory.
