Üniversite Öğrencilerinin Algıladıkları Ebeveyn Kabul - Reddi ile Depresyon ve Sürekli Kaygı Düzeyleri Arasındaki İlişkinin İncelenmesi: Duygu Düzenleme Güçlüklerinin Aracı Rolü
Özet
The aim of this study is to investigate whether or not there is a mediator role of difficulty in emotion regulation on the relationship of perceived parental acceptance rejection/control with depression and anxiety symptoms among university students. The Demographic Information Form, Parental Acceptance-Rejection/Control Questionnaire (PARQ/C), Difficulties in Emotion Regulation Scale (DERS), Beck Depression Inventory (BDI), State-Trait Anxiety Inventory-Trait Form were applied to the students in order to measure the variables which were contained in this study.According to the results, the relationships between perceived parental rejection and both depression and trait anxiety were mediated by the dimensions of difficulties in emotion regulation for female and male separately. The results of the study were evaluated in the light of the related literature, implications of the study were discussed and limitations of the study and recommendations for future research were explained.
