Üniversite Öğrencilerinde Travma Sonrası Büyümeyi Yordayan Çeşitli Değişkenlerin Türk ve Amerikan Kültürlerinde İncelenmesi: Bir Model Önerisi
Özet
The purpose of this study was to examine the multiple predictors of posttraumatic growth in Turkish and American university students following a relationship break up. Firstly, Turkish reliability and validity studies (N=600) were conducted for The Event Related Rumination Inventory and The Core Beliefs Inventory. Participants of the study consisted of 198 students from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, USA and 194 students from various universities in Turkey who were recruited through an online system. Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) was conducted to test the suggested mediated model for rumination styles, coping styles, distress (depression, anxiety, stress) level, and the disruption level on the core beliefs between attachment styles and posttraumatic growth.
