Ebeveyn Kaybı Yaşayan Kişilerde Psikolojik Esneklik Tepkisinin Psiko-Sosyal Belirleyicileri: Kaybın Koşulları, Kişinin Kendine, Dünyaya, Geleceğe Yönelik Algısı, Algılanan Sosyal Destek ve Başa Çıkma Stratejileri
Özet
As human beings, we encounter loss of loved ones in our lives due to undeniable nature of the death and how people react to loss varies significantly. Bonanno (2004) stresses variability in people’s reactions to loss stating that reaction to loss follows mainly 4 trajectories which are resilience, recovery, chronic stress and delayed reactions. Rather than psychopathological reactions, Bonanno focuses on resilient trajectory indicating high adaptation and less psychological symptoms after loss. To understand which individual differences give rise to resilience in the face of death, Mancini and Bonanno (2009) proposed a model of resilience. Current study aimed to examine individual differences predicting resilience in the face of parental loss, and other factors’ role between individual differences and resilience.
