Abstract

The study aimed at searching for an integrative model in anxiety involving attachment, positive and negative emotion regulation and intolerance of uncertainty. For this purpose, reliability and validity of Turkish version of Reactions to Positive Affect Scale were examined in a preliminary study. The participants of this study included 232 university student from Hacettepe University and Koç University and they were given the Turkish version of Reactions to Positive Affect Scale. The factor analysis findings revealed three factors for the scale: self-focused positive rumination, dampening and emotion-focused positive rumination. Also, the findings showed that the reliability indices are satisfactory for non-clinical population in Turkey.
