Poli(Bütilenadipat-ko-Tereftalat) (PBAT) Mikro ve Nanopartiküller: Sentez, Karakterizasyon ve Kurkumin Salım Kinetiğinin İncelenmesi
Abstract
This study was performed with the support of ‘Poly(butylene adipate-coterephthalate)
(PBAT) Micro and Nanoparticles: Synthesis, Characterization and
Investigation of Curcumin Release Kinetics’ entitled and FHD-2016-11953 coded
Hacettepe University funding project and TÜBİTAK 2210-C Primary Subject National
Scholarship Program for MSc Students. In the scope of the thesis, the efficiency of
aliphatic-aromatic copolyester poly(butylene adipate-co-terephthalate) (PBAT) in
drug release applications was investigated. For this purpose, after the synthesis
and characterization of PBAT micro and nanoparticles the loading and in-vitro
release of curcumin that is recently prominent as a natural, anticancerogenic drug
was achieved and the cytotoxic effect of the particles was determined in the cell
culture systems.
