Yeni Nesil Platin Komplekslerinin Kütle Spektrometrik Yöntemlerle İncelenmesi ve Antikanser Aktivitelerinin In Vitro Olarak Araştırılması
Abstract
Studies on the use of metal based drugs, derivatives of cisplatin (CDDP), in the treatment of cancer by medicine began in the 1960s with the discovery of CDDP. Investigation of the drug s effect mechanism became necessary due to the displayed CDDP resistance of many cell types and serious side effects of CDDP in treatment. Nowadays, only a few amount of Pt compounds have being used as anticancer drug in clinical applications, caused the synthesis of new genaration platinium and other transition metal complexes (Pd, Ru, Au) and researching the anticancer activity of them in vitro. The studies showed that DNA is the target molecule of anticancer drug and only 1% of the used drug can reach the target. Since the rate of the drug reaches the target molecule is inadequate, it s necessary to detect the other biomolcules which can interact with drug until it reaches to the DNA in the cell or outside the cell and to determine the rate of interaction.
