Like the decorative design of a building built by a sculptor, the proverb enriches a language and enhances its beauty. This is an elegant, polished and artistic expression of a proverb, while a group of people came together to expresses in words for a particular message which stays years and generations together. Each linguistic group can boast its own proverbs. When proverbs are not used, the sweetness of a declaration or the strength of a situation cannot be perceived.
It is often said that the proverb is a short sentence in common use, which is the expression acquired by experience or observation. Archer Taylor suggested the definition of the proverb as "the wisdom of many people and the intelligence of one." Normally "suggests the cause of an action or a decision on a situation" (Taylor 1949: 902-905). This is one of the commonly accepted definitions of the proverb.
Some demonstrations were provided by people on various information obtained with the help of proverbs. At the same time, they are given the pictures of the different states of an individual country by finding the places of these countries, and their historical, political, religious and moral aspects closely related to them. Proverbs therefore allow us to reach a state using the things that they express about themselves for the real importation of their place. This demonstrates the importance and utility of a comparative study of specific place or language proverbs.
In our daily lives, we use proverbs or we hear from people who want to make their speech effective. Consciously or unconsciously using proverbs in our discussion, we can convince people and use proverbs helps to clear doubts in our mind regarding any particular situation. Sometimes the proverbs may not be used correctly, but we still cannot leave these proverbs as useless carts of information. In short, proverbs have become a part of our social life and these proverbs cannot be separated from everyday life. Passing through both Turkish and Indian literature, it can be concluded that proverbs are like ornaments in literary life. İf Vedas, Upanishad and all old literary heritage are regarded as the information store of the sanctuaries, we can say "the proverbs are the best way to learn about people's feelings" than any other source. Because language and literature explain the position of a race or the civilization of a nation at an important point, and proverbs are widely considered to identify it. Proverbs are based on long experiences in different areas of people's lives; common thoughts are observations and expressions that come to life as a result, expressed in a concise and creative way.
In this study, we discussed different topics regarding to the origin of the Proverb, different form of Proverbs, how Proverbs provides us the valuable long-lost sight of habits and traditions of any culture, the norms and upbringings, socio-political status and personal views of any society.
In this study, we compared the proverbs from different categories in Turkish and İndian Language to verify the thought that in spite of different language families both the language has very much impact on each other.
Through this study, it is wide open and clear that although both languages proverbs may or may not same on the basis of sentence structure and form but usually cluster with the same intention, meaning, and concept. The figure ıf speeches, Tenses, messages, and attention carries the same pattern through short-form concise and single judgments. This clearly indicates the impact or effect of social interactions on the literature of both the languages.
İn spite of different language families this interaction in these languages shows that these two languages are exceptionally alike in many respect not restricted to literature but also in grammar, word formation and syntax.
With the help of smilier studies, we can deal with the reflection and impacts of these universally acclaimed historic languages and proverbs are the best perspective to start with. By this, we will be able to understand both civilizations more deeply and clearly.
