Unlike traditional leadership approaches, self-leadership is one of the approaches that have emerged as an alternative to leadership. Self-leadership is the process of motivating and orienting itself, using some behavioral and cognitive strategies to achieve one's individual and organizational success. Within the scope of the research, 357 health workers were reached and the data obtained from these persons were evaluated. As a result of the analysis, relationship between self-leadership sub-dimensions, job satisfaction, and job stress is generally moderate and low. It was observed that the mean of the self-leadership sub-dimensions showed statistically significant differences according to the employees' gender, age, marital status, the duties in the hospital, the income status, the study period in the total sector and whether or not they received leadership education. In the light of regression analyzes; it has been determined that the evaluations of the employees' self-leadership sub-dimensions have positive effects on job satisfaction and job stress. Consequently, encouraging self leadership in healthcare organizations will increase the job satisfaction of employees and reduce job stress.
