Nietzsche’Nin Sokrates Hakkındaki Düşünceleri Bağlamında “Sokrates Problemi”Ne Bakış
Abstract
AYDIN Ebru, An Approach to “Problem of Socrates” Through The Context of Nietzsche’s Thoughts About Socrates, Master’s Thesis, Ankara, 2016. The aim of this dissertation is to deal with the problem of Socrates from the point of Nietzsche’s evaluation of Socrates’ ideas.Part I. of this study introduces the problem of Socrates in the general sense. In a nutshell the problem of Socrates is the problem of ascertaining exactly what his ideas were? The cause of this problem is this: Socrates has not written down his ideas. The sources at our disposal are Xenophon’s works about Socrates (Memorailia, Symposion and Apologia), Plato’s dialogues and Aristophanes’ Clouds. These three persons are the only ones that have known him personally and therefore should be considered as direct witness to Socrates. These three writers give different account of Socrates.
