Abstract
This study aims at, investigating the effects of the commercially available grinding aids on the model parameters of cement ball mill and air classifier running on the grinding circuit.Although sharpness of air classifier was not affected by grinding aids, air classifier worked more efficiently due to the reduction of the amount of bypass 6% and the throughput of the grinding circuit was increased at the same product quality. Therefore, it was possible to reduce specific energy consumption of the grinding circuit %19.The model parameters of ball mill and air classifier was determined, depending on grinding aid dosage A grinding circuit model including the effects of grinding aid dosage has been establish and various simulations has been carried out.
