Abstract

Based on the analysis of various sources, this study aims to examine the Ottoman foundation system within the framework of the concepts of administration, power, urban development and economy in the example of the Merzifonlu Kara Mustafa Pasha Foundation and thus to reveal the transformations and breakpoints experienced in the Ottoman waqf establishment.
