Abstract

In the first part of the art work report, shadow concept, dictionary meanings and basic elements related to the concept is aimed to explain through the field which is relevant to the study, the place of the shadow in the field of art and its relationship with the art object are discussed and the historical development and change of the subject is examined. In this chapter, under the title of art object, the process of existence of shadow is discussed as an object. In the second part, the artists who have been discussed the relationship between light and shadow are investigated from different point of views. In the third chapter, personal applications and concepts in the shadow are discussed and explained.
