Lise Öğrencilerinde Okul Terki Riskinin İncelenmesi
Özet
This study investigates variables causing drop-out among high school students. In this respect, whether variables like family, friends, self-esteem, daily hassles and certain demographic characteristics meaningfully affect school drop-out has been examined. The research has been carried out with three different study groups.The predicting variable of the research is school drop-out risk, and this risk has been tested by School Experience Scale (SES) developed by the researcher. Variables on predicting variables have been collected by using Daily Hassles Scale , Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale and Demographic Information Form .Also, the results of the analysis have been discussed and commented on in the light of the school drop-out literature. Based on the findings, specific recommendations have been made on applications related to lowering down the number of school drop-outs and preventing them.
