Skapular Diskinezisi Olan Voleybol Oyuncularında Kinezyo Bantlamanın Omuz Mobilite ve Izokinetik Kuvvete Etkisi
Özet
The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of Kinesio Taping mechanic correction technique on shoulder mobility and isokinetic muscle strength in volleyball players with scapular dyskinesia. Thirty volleyball players (18 males, 12 females) with scapular dyskinesia with a mean age of 23.4 ± 3.8yıl participated to the study. The presence of scapular dyskinesia was determined by Lateral Scapula Slide Test. Shoulder external –internal rotation muscle strength assessments and active – passive scapular mobility assessments were applied in the first day of the measurement. Correction technique of kinesio tape was applied following assessments. Next day, same measurements were done by using kinesio tape application. Isokinetic muscular strength assessment was performed with Isomed 2000 device in 60° / sec and 180 ° / sec angular velocity. Paired samples T test was used to compare means between related groups. Wilcoxon matched pairs test was used to compare related groups while parametric assumptions were not met. There is a significant increase in external rotation of active-passive shoulder mobility with kinesio tape application (p0.05). Besides, internal rotation muscular strength at the 180 °/sec angular speed was significantly increased with kinesio tape application (p0.05). However, there is no significant increase in muscle strength at the 60 °/sec angular speed (p>0.05). Due to very complex anatomy and biomechanics of the shoulder joint complex, techniques such as kinesiotaping which corrects the biomechanics and maintains the kinematic during overhead activities might be facilitated to shoulder rehabilitation.
