Doğal Dokuların Geometrik Biçimli, Seramik Yüzeylerdeki Yorumu

Abstract

The aim of this research is to voice criticism on the dualism between city life and natural habitat. In the first chapter, an inquiry is presented on the issue of natural textures that are used as a symbol of natural habitat in the works. At the end of the first chapter, some works of a group of artists who imitatively practice textures taken from the nature on the ceramic surfaces are exemplified. In the following chapter, the features and textures of mushrooms is particularly analyzed since the imitations of mushroom textures are used in individual works as a significant tool.
