Beden Erk İlişkisi
Özet
This research aims to examine the reflections of ideological state apparatuses (such as continous surveillance, domination, lockdown, etc.) applied during the periods of political power on the concept of body by centering these apparatuses and develop a perspective on "Body- Political Power Relations" based on historical knowledge, different disciplines (Art, Sculpture, Literature and Cinema) and artists' works. Political power, surveillance and body oriented works by Philosophers such as Foucault, Deleuze, Althusser, Giddens, Berman, Butler, Sennett, Debord, Baudrillard, Bauman and Vattimo; Literati such as Orwell, Zamyatin and Burgess; Filmmakers such as Godard, Tarkovsky, Chaplin and Lang were examined, and text and visual readings were made with rich arguments. This research, which is focusing on the concept of body that social phenomena, wars and the policies of political power form, finance and ignore is a qualitative research, and information about the field was obtained from literature review. General Survey Model was used to support the qualitative data. According to Cooper (1984: 9), "The value of a study depends on how the study is equipped with previous studies, how it extends them, and whether it reflects the inherent qualities of the research; and some studies may seem more important than others because the pieces of the puzzle they solve are extremely important.
When the first phase of the research consists of surveillance and the second phase is on body, the phenomena of modernity that push the individuals step by step towards objectification, commodification and mechanization are emphasized.
