ALTINTAŞ, Emrah. The Role of Person-Organization Fit Between The Relationship of Transformational Leadership and Organizational Citizenship Behavior, Master’s Thesis, Ankara, 2019.
The purpose of this study is to find out possible outcomes of interaction between variables and whether the effect of person-organization fit on the relationship between transformational leadership and organizational citizenship behavior. With this purpose, each variable was examined in one dimension.
The study was conducted with 111 employees working for private company which has 148 employees in Ankara. The structural equation model was set and path analysis was conducted to determine effects between variables in the model.
Research findings has indicated that person-organization fit has partial moderating effect on the relationship between transformational leadership and organizational citizenship behavior. Also, it has been found that transformational leadership has indirect effect on organizational citizenship behavior via person-organization fit.
Besides it has been found that variables have high level correlation. It has been identified that transformational leadership has positive effect on person-organization fit and organizational citizenship behavior; person-organization fit has positive effect on organizational citizenship behavior
