Abstract

Human life continues through certain psychological processes by changing. One of the most important factors determining human psychology is human physiology. Human physiology is also influenced by psychology. Psychology and physiology are in constant interaction. At this point, a system from which the part affects the whole comes into play. Consciousness, together with this system, is the factor in human self-identification. Human consciousness is in the process of learning in the changing world with concepts such as subconscious. Change also takes place within the human.

Since history, man has expressed himself through art. A number of symbols, mythological elements, legends, fairy tales has expressed itself. Man has maintained his existence in the world with the factors that make up himself and has thought about his own existence and developed the symbol language. He used animals as symbols to make sense of himself. In this world, where everything is intertwined, the human has been tried to be handled in the way of artistic expression within the whole relation of the piece. The realities of the contradictions we experience with the unseen faces of the iceberg, the perceptions such as subconscious, conscious and unconscious are mentioned for the human being. It is aimed to reach the pictorial expression of this reality by examining the psychological processes of the human being within the whole relation of the piece in the paintings discussed in the scope of the research.
