Abstract
The aims of this study were Functional Movement Balance System which ensure postural balance training with multi joint angle movement and body position and comparıson of this system and standard balance training on static, dynamic balance and functionality. Lots of system which develop balance and postural control are used in limited area and floor surfaces of them is stabil. The exercises of standard balance system have some limitation about adaptation of daily movement 36 healty sports subjects who aged 18-30 years were volunteered to participate in the study. They were randomly separated into two groups. In the study group 18 healthy subjects who have taken balance functional training with DIBA were enrolled on this study for 8 weeks. In the control group 18 healthy subjects who have taken balance and functional training with standart balance equipment (balance board, wobble board and BOSU) were enrolled on this study for 8 weeks. All of subjects were assessed pre-training, 4th weeks and 8th weeks. All of the subjects were assessed with Flamingo Balance Test (FBT) for static balance, Y Balance Test (YBT) for dynamic balance, One Leg Hop test (OLH) and Front reach test (FRT) for functionality. Results of this study Anterior parameter of YBT in (p=0,001), FDT in measurement of 8th weeks (p=0,024), OLH test in measurement of 4th weeks (p=0,012), and measurement of 8th weeks (p=0,016), has shown significantly difference in favour of study groups, between groups. All of the other test didnt shown any difference between groups (p>0,005). According to this study, because of DIBA has positive effects on functionality and balance which might be used instead of standard balance equipment or be used with standard balance equipment.
