Abstract
Between 1919-1925, the thesis about Islamization of the Anatolian Greeks who did not want to /could not go or left behind was written based on the stories and narration of the people who experienced the period and the stories abstracted from their memories. In the study, in accordance with rising voices from the fields, attention has been paid to how to stories were hidden for years by social pressure, the process of new identity and Islamization, the period of searching family stories and confrontation with them, reckoning with history and finally the change of the field subjects over time. The power and political sides of remembering took its place in the thesis. The assimilation and transculturation processes experienced by the families over the transmitted stories were also included in the analysis.
