Ali Nazif'in Zinetü'l-Kelam'ı ve Türk Belagatindeki Yeri.

In this study, Zînetü’l-Kelâm was examined and transcribed, which one of studies on rhetoric was written during the Tanzimat reform period. In Tanzimat and Republic periods, Alî Nazîf-i Sürûrî who wrote on many issues from literature to law and politics in his work called Zînetü’l-Kelâm focused on bedî as the third branch in classical rhetoric works. The study is a translation to Turkish from Miftâhü’l-Bedâyi’ that belongs to Vahîd-i Tebrîzî being a persian author lived in XIII. century.
This study on Zînetü’l-Kelâm consists of an introduction and three chapters. In the introduction, it was generally considered about rhetoric and addressed the basic rhetoric works in Arabic, Persian, Turkish on bedî’. First chapter includes information about Alî Nazîf’s life, literary identity and his studies. In second chapter, Zînetü’l-Kelâm compared to Miftâhü’l-Bedâyi’ written in Persian which is an original transkript. Furthermore, the terms used in Zînetü’l-Kelâm were compared with the terms explained in Fenn-i Bedi’ is on similar topic, which are contemporary. In third chapter, Zînetü’l-Kelâm was transcribed. In appendix, it was prepared a dictionary comprised of Arabic, Persian and archaic Turkish lexemes in the text.
This study introduces Alî Nazîf and Alî Nazîf’s works especially Zînetü’l-Kelâm to the literature of today’s world, which don’t include any information about themselves in the sources.
