Abstract
This study was carried out in 2020-2021 with 200 mothers who have pre-school children aged 4-6 years and 4-6 years old preschool trends, use of technology and technological devices and self-regulation according to parent media mediation. The research was conducted as a descriptive study in which the relational survey model, one of the quantitative research methods, was used. The Early Childhood Employer Media Mediation Scale (ECEMAO) and the Self-regulation Skills Scale for 4-6 Years-Old Children (Mother Form) were used in the study. The data obtained from the participants were analyzed using the SPSS 25.0 Package Program. While evaluating the data, statistical methods and reliability analyzes were made. When comparing comparisons with normal distributions, t-test was used for two groups, when comparing more than two independent groups, a single point of view variance analysis was performed, and Bonferroni analysis was used to understand which group the difference consisted of. While the numerical variables were tested with the Pearson scale, the values obtained were interpreted according to the 0.05 interpretation level. According to the research results; It was found that the use of technology, maintaining parental media mediation according to reproductive and reproductive ages did not differ according to sibling point of view. According to the mothers' occupations, monthly income and being a model in media use; There are differences in the use of technological devices according to the most frequently used technological devices, lifespan and duration, which are consumed as limitations in the limits of self-regulation. Finally, it has been determined that there is a positive purposeful relationship between parental media mediation and self-regulation, attention, working memory, inhibitory control emotions, and enhancements in ECEMAO.
