HİKMET ERHAN BENER’İN ÖYKÜLERİNE GÖSTERGEBİLİMSEL BİR YAKLAŞIM

Abstract

Semiotics; it is a science based on the systematic examination of all factors, including the interpretation, production or processes of understanding signs. In this master thesis which is inspired by the semiotic, and Hikmet Erhan Bener’s stories in his eight books are analized according to this method. In the introduction part of the thesis, the history of semiotic theory is mentioned. Also in this section, method and the reasons for choosing the author are emphasized. In the first chapter of the thesis, the storyteller identity of Hikmet Erhan Bener is emphasized. In the second chapter; discoursive level, narrative level and deep level are handled into three different tittles. Within the analysis narrative program is detected, the table of actants model is constituted, after the detection of the actants, their general transformations are given. After the manipulation, competence, performance and sanction hierarchy of the actants are shown, the deep level of the text are shown into the semiotic square.
